What are you grateful for?

Keep innovating!

This year 2021 has been a year of many lessons for me both as an entrepreneur and as a data scientist.

You are more likely to acquire certain skills faster via a community, by community I mean groups, shared ideas, projects, mentors, contributions and lots more. The more I learnt something new in data science the more I realised that I don’t know. Knowledge is infinite and no man can have all the world’s knowledge, that’s where your community comes into play. Tap into it!

Several communities and networks made an effective learning tool for me this year when I got stuck while programming (data science), that was me tapping into my community/network. Our work becomes easier when we realise that someone has likely or closely done what we are doing now or might intend to, why reinvent the wheel?

Personally, in technical capacity, I grew this year and am looking to learn more. There are several things I am grateful for, even though some boxes might have not yet been ticked, still I am grateful.

Technology can change the world and is currently doing so anyway, but the capacity to birth something new shouldn’t be underestimated. Innovation can happen from anywhere and from anyone, don’t write yourself out yet.

I did some learning in Deep Learning this year. I am happy to share this notebook (duly refenced) to guide newbies entering into machine learning.

Stay motivated, keep learning and innovate on a dial.

Thanks for reading,

Cheers,
